s a local church, Waverley Community Church is moving purposefully into the future, fully committed to reaching people with the Good News and turning them into fully devoted followers of Christ. We are passionate about His mission.
We envision a vibrant, growing church filled with people of all ages and backgrounds—a family that reflects the rich diversity of God’s Kingdom. Our heart is to see lives transformed, communities impacted, and the love of Christ made visible through mission, service, and compassion.
The church we see is alive with purpose. It’s a place where everyone is valued and everyone has a role in God’s story. Just as the early church in Acts 2:41–47 turned the world upside down, we too desire to be a church that makes history and brings lasting change.

Our Values
- We believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. The message of the Gospel transforms everything—giving us a new identity, purpose, and future. At WCC, everything we do flows from the Good News of Christ. (John 10:10, Colossians 2:6-7)
- Church is more than a Sunday gathering—it’s a family. We pursue real relationships, where people are known, supported, and loved as we walk through life together. (Acts 2:44-47, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
- Heaven is multiethnic, and so is our heart. We celebrate diversity and intentionally welcome people from every background, culture, and generation into the family of God. (Revelation 5:9, Acts 11:19-30)
- Leadership means service. From our platform to our parking team, we lead by example and follow Jesus’ model—putting others first with excellence and humility. (Mark 10:45, John 13)
- We exist to help people grow in Christ and live on mission. Through teaching, mentoring, and community, we’re equipping everyday believers to live like Jesus and lead others to Him. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Timothy 2:2)
